The salon talks

On the occasion of its tenth edition, Art Elysées introduces an exclusive series of « cultural conversations » conducted by prestigious key players from the art world, and the creative scenes.

Between tradition and modernity, the Salon talks will revive the pleasure and the emulation of the famous "Conversation de Salons" from the past.

Located inside the art fair, in a unique decor inspired by a collector’s home, curated by the Berlin gallery Michael Fuchs, the talks will bring together some collectors, art professionals, experts from the luxury and creative scenes who will discuss and reflect on art-related themes. In echo to the mix of ancient, modern and contemporary works of art exhibited- ranging from Douglas Gordon to Frank Stella, from Tiepolo to Verner Panton, Salon talks will bring back the past to better anchor it in the present.

What are the opportunities and the new business models of the art market? How do artists manage to successfully collaborate with the luxury industries? Who embodies the new generation of art patrons, collectors, professionals of the art world, and how do they drive their endeavor into today’s art scene. These are some of the few questions which will be openly debated among others during the fair, and where the public is invited to participate

Organized during breakfast or a lunch break, these talks are hosted for the visitors of the fair who have received a VIP pass. Please note that the number of places is limited.
