CONTEMPORARY HEIS TOKYO
Contemporary Heis started in Heikando in 1959 as an oriental art gallery. Appreciated by many customers for a long time, she proposed the art of the Japanese tea ceremony, while exhibiting antique oriental furniture, and ceramics. Based on these experiences, the gallery opened to "Contemporary Art" and became Galerie Heis in 2012. It exposes the new trends of contemporary art in Japan but also around the world and wishes that its space be first and foremost a place we take the time to appreciate art.
