The Galerie Berès was founded in 1952. Anisabelle Berès-Montanari now runs it with the assistance of her daughter, Florence. The gallery has always been dedicated to the avant-garde movements in 19th and 20th century, organizing many exhibitions and publishing important catalogues. The gallery now focuses on modernist trends of the 20th century like cubism and abstraction and on contemporary art with paintings, works on paper, sculptures and ceramics by artists like Geneviève Asse, Sam Francis, Georges Mathieu, Nicolas de Staël, Alexander Calder, Vieira da Silva, Pierre Soulages, Simon Hantaï or Zao Wou-Ki. The galerie Berès participates regularly in the BRAFA in Brussels, Biennale Paris, TEFAF in Maastricht, the Salon du Dessin, and from 2018, in two new Fairs, Fine Art Paris and Antica Namur.

The artists displayed at Art Élysées – Art & Design, will show an overview of our recent or older favourite pieces. We privilege diversity in styles and periods, from drawings to sculptures.
