JORDAN/SEYDOUX - Drawings & Prints
In 2008 Amélie Seydoux and Bernard Jordan launched in Berlin a gallery of contemporary art focussed on drawings and prints. Their cooperation resulted in an mutual attachement to the artists’ editions, in particular to those which through the exploration of the possibilities of print techniques open up new fields of creativity for the artists.
The program of the gallery alternates between solo and group exhibitions, while focusing equally on drawings and prints.
Since 2009, the gallery has also taken on the role of publisher. The first project was a series of color woodcuts by berliner artist Frank Badur and was followed by many collaborations with mainly French and German artists as Françoise Pétrovitch, François Morellet, Pierre Buraglio, Imi Knoebel and Patrick Gabler. In 2017 the gallery is proud to have published a beautiful etching by leading german artist Georg Baselitz as well a a series of woodcuts by young French artist Damien Deroubaix.
