The Galerie Lacan is the eldest art gallery in Strasbourg (France). In 2019 the Gallery is celebrating its fortieth anniversary. It has a collection of more than 2.500 artworks, which is always renewing. While the Maison d’Edition l’Estampe keeps on being an editor of original engravings, the Galerie Lacan presents original art works of the Figuration Libre and Figuration Narrative program.
Through out 2019, the Galerie Lacan will be featuring featuring Hervé Di Rosa, Erró, Peter Klasen, Jacques Villeglé, Speedy Graphito, Éric Liot, Antonio Seguí.
For this new edition of Art Élysées, the Galerie Lacan and the Maison d’Edition l’Estampe continue representing artists of the Nouvelle Figuration and “its relatives” like Speedy Graphito (acting as a link between Figuration Libre and Street Art) and Éric Liot (influenced by the Figuration Narrative, he creates his own universe with everyday images. His artwork displays heroes or characters from the popular imagery as well as Comics). We will display new editions and original paintings from Erró, Speedy Graphito, Peter Klasen and a new sculpture by Éric Liot and recent acquisitions from Antonio Seguí.
