ART ELYSEES 2011

ART ELYSEES CONCLUDES ITS 5th EDITION WITH SUCCESS !
 

Professionals, partners, collectors, visitors, they all agree, Art Elysées 2011 was a huge success.
With over 38,000 visitors, the fair reaches its objectives and takes once again the first step among the others satellite fairs, during the week of October dedicated to art in Paris.
Still more consistent and qualitative with 60 exhibitors selected, Art Elysees was differentiated from other events and has definitely acquired its place.
At the end of this fifth edition, the fair still proves that it is truly a must-see annual event.

This 5th edition saw an even greater emphasis on quality. By Increasing the number of modern art galleries, Art Elysées has improved and confirmed its strong position in Classic Modernism, Post-War and Contemporary Classical Art, to general satisfaction.
Expert collectors, or "art lovers ", the fair attracts visitors looking for safe investments, but does not give up the cutting-edge contemporary art, keeping a part of the large pavilion C to galleries that support emergent artists.

Alongside its first activity: participate actively in the art market, Art Elysées welcomes each edition new exhibitions and cultural institutions.
Under the Patronage of Frédéric Mitterrand, Minister of Culture and Communication, Art Elysées was pleased to welcome the Maillol Museum, and to honor an artwork of Pierre-Marie Lejeune, "WATER BUG." Change of "BUG", characteristic of the virtual alphabet of the sculptor, the fountain settled down in the main entrance to the pavilion B, was realized especially for the event, with the support of the METALLIERS CHAMPENOIS, specialized in decorative metal works and bronze for architecture.

ART ELYSEES and DESIGN ELYSEES ELYSEES, a successful combination.
The union of these two events has perfectly presented a comprehensive overview of a carefully selected and curated range of top-quality 20th and 21st century artworks, gathering mostly works of the greatest artists and designers from 40 to 80 years. The coming of Design Elysees received a lot of attention from all visitors and brought new collectors to Art Elysees.
